Don’t start with multiple teams at once Transcript: Speaker 2 If your domain team consists of their own data engineers and data scientists with domain knowledge experts to manage their own data products, if it’s got all of those capabilities, if they can really manage their own data products, it’s okay to work with multiple teams at the start of your journey. So personal note here, Scott note, if you don’t need to drive buy in and your org can do this, I don’t see it as that much of a major risk. But probably at most a few hundred, maybe even only tens of organizations really have this mature of a setup that’s where they could be working with multiple domains at the start. I would say it’s rare to be for that to be the right choice. (Time 0:03:50)
Data Catalogs FTW Transcript: Speaker 2 Democratizing data, especially doing data catalogs while has led to less data deduplication for Novo Nordisk because people know where to find data and can reliably get access again. They don’t copy or build something similar to ensure that they have the data they need. (Time 0:06:42)
