Whether it’s a hangover of disastrous lockdown experiments, social media compulsion or just plain stupidity, I see no reason why the rest of us should be privy to the sounds you are dictating your phone to make, except in real cases of life or death (which, last time I checked, Elton John —bless him— was not).
