- Tags:: #META - Last updated:: [[2023-09-02]] Update on [[2023-12-17]]: I no longer update these stats. They were a fun exercise but I'm no longer interested. Some statistics about the whole vault (even the non-published part) for regular pages, excluding the [[my-second-brain-management.-workflows-and-funflowsdaily-notes|My Second Brain Management]]. I've used consistent hashing to map tags to colors (see [obsidian-metrics repo](https://github.com/drmario-gh/obsidian-metrics/blob/cb8ad38c810bc31fce2f5989da496bc66c0b5bc2/main.py#L21)), so each tag is represented by the same color in all figures. For the estimate of reading hours of my texts, I assume we read 238 words per minute ([How many words do we read per minute? A review and meta-analysis of reading rate - ScienceDirect](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0749596X19300786)). Spike. I started also considering nested folders in the metrics. - [[2023-05-28]]. Drop. I don't operate directly on my vault, I copy the files over to run metrics on them. I realized that the previous copy was not being overwritten, so renamed/deleted files were not removed from the metrics. That explains the drop on this day. - [[2023-08-05]].
